JUSTINE OK
Justine Ok is a Korean-American singer, rapper, songwriter, music producer and business executive based in Los Angeles. Throughout her career in the music industry, Justine Ok has had her work published by Sony/ATV, Warner Chappell; albums/songs charted in Top 10 (Billboard); had written songs that generated millions+ Youtube views, was featured on radio, commercial brands, feature films and television; and has operated as an top executive at a record label, music production house & music publishing company.
On the creative end, her voice has been featured on high profile commercial brand campaigns such as Heineken's 'Refresh Your Music' and for award winning haircare brand, Fable & Mane. As a songwriter, Ok's most well-known works include Good Boy by Baek Ji Young featuring Yong Jun Hyung, a K-pop dance song that charted six weeks in the top 10 on the Billboard K-Pop Charts; "It Will Be Ok" on #1 Album "Heaven / Cliff" by Jess Lee, Grand Winner of Taiwan's Idol style TV singing competition, One Million Star"; and the theme song to film, "Bullets Over Petaling Street". Notably, her song "Champion" with Born I Music was featured in Sony Music's Sochi Winter Olympics official compilation along the likes of other Sony label artists such as Mariah Carey and Miley Cyrus. In addition to writing for other artists, she also releases music as TINAMINA. Regularly used in the sync licensing world, TINAMINA has garnered over 22 sync placements including spots on popular reality shows such as "America's Next Top Model"," Real World: The Challenge XXX" and Black Ink Crew Chicago" and on television networks such as MTV, VH1, BET & Viceland.
On the business end, Justine Ok’s past industry experience is multifaceted and international. Having formerly served as Chief Operating Officer to a startup K-pop company which she helped build to international success, her industry expertise is wide ranging due to overseeing varying key interests of the company during her term, primarily, music publishing, and at times, branding & marketing, music production, entertainment agency, A&R, artist development and tour management. Having been one of the key business executives to orchestrate the company's expansive growth, not only was Ok instrumental in navigating and closing various regional subpublishing deals and a significant investment deal with Warner Chappell, she was also an integral part of the team that brought an artist partnership deal with Universal Music Group to fruition and commercial success.
